Office, Ours!

Evelina is about to tile the bathroom. Sometime this year, depending upon whether or not I am ever able to stop the leaking drain. I may just make an "aquaduct" from under the tub to a hole in the wall... This could be a "serenity fountain" in the realestate adverts. "Home features a 'serenity fountain'... truly a must see"

So far the going has been pretty smooth for me, but this is because I am not undergoing immense changes. Evelina is still doing very well.

On 9/30 we were told that everyone looks "perfect" with regard to the little one currently known as Franklin Delano or Ruth Ginsburg.

• This is evelina at the beach very shortly after making our discovery

• Here is what I look like after swimming. Super happy. This is the "Flock of Seagulls" look that I can't wear to work.

• 16 weeks: We paused to pose near these flowers in West Virginia. This was during the weekend of Sept. 2-5.

• 16 weeks: Evelina's Aunt and Uncle (Zio Comandino and Zia Michelina) made and sent her a very nice rectangular cake
• 16 week Ultrasound

• 16 weeks, again taken in West Virginia on Sept. 3rd.

• 17 weeks: Here is evelina in front of the few walls in the house that are not yet damaged

• 18 weeks so far, and I am really starting to show. taken during the first month of the bathroom project.

• 19 weeks: In NYC standing in front of Clarks diner, by default our favorite in brooklyn, just after our afternoon breakfast. This is also a terribly bad picture but the camera battery ran out at just this moment. The picture quality is beyond repair. I tried to redo this and still, its bad. First real kicks were felt while aboard the New Jersey Transit Trenton / Penn Station Local train on the way to Manhattan. Taken on Sept. 18th
• 20 week ultrasound Its a little blurry, but its otherwise very good. Evelina sees a hairline too.

Evelina is progressing well, she just had another check-up and things are looking fine.

• 21 weeks, evelina with Clair, Michelle and Owen, and Estela outside of Sabrina's. Oct. 11th.

• My secret hiding place for empty beer cans was found after evelina made delicious lentil soup. I was busted and here is the evidence.

Today is 10/14. Last night I was listening to Ginsburg and got a nice kick to the head. Its easy to wake up Ginsburg, just give some ice cream to Evelina.

Welcome to 2006. The photos here are very out of date. Evelina has been maintaining her own page all this time, but I wanted to make a few concluding points here as well. Ginsberg is doing fine so far, evelina is starting to get a little bit uncomfortable, and she is struggling with clothes and their sizes a bit more recently, but overall we are really excited and we are, no matter what, getting close to the end of the 9 month adventure.

Hopefully the next 2 months go as well as the first 7-8 have.

The house is also coming together pretty well. With a little luck and lots of procrastination, everything will be up to date before the baby is born.
